I hope this letter finds everyone doing well.  Attached are two documents,
this week’s Friday Letter and the Kidz Café menu for the month of October.

 

The school has some important needs coming around the bend.  First, we need
volunteers to help carry the load of Fall Fellowship duties.  This includes
responsible alumni or parents willing to lend a hand during the event.
Information on who to contact is in the Friday Letter.

 

We are looking for volunteers for the PE cup stacking competition.  This
event will be held sometime in January.  If you are willing to volunteer,
please call Cheryl Ruby at 408-370-4900 ext. 352 and leave a message.  She
will get back to you with details.  

 

New Computers have been ordered.  New notebook computers have been ordered
for the elementary and pre-k computer classes.  Look for them soon.

 

Hallways and Fellowship Hall flooring remodel: We will be reflooring the
entire Fellowship Hall and all of the hallways in the education building.
This will occur sometime during Christmas break.  The Fellowship Hall will
also be painted starting sometime next week.  Be on the lookout.  

 

New lunch tables were ordered about two weeks back.  They will arrive in a
few weeks and will be located outside the Oak Room sliding doors.  

 

Gail Griffin was mentioned as a Teacher of the Year in San Jose Magazine’s
current edition.  Congrats Gail!

 

Fellowship of Lights: The Campbell Church of Christ is holding their annual
Festival of Lights on October 29 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.  This is a fun,
safe Halloween alternative with games, crafts, and entertainment available
to the community.  Come in the school office to get a flyer.
