Lauren King Shrader is a student pastor with a degree in Bible and Theology, emphasizing Preaching and Student Ministry, from Lipscomb University. She brings 10 years of full-time ministry experience, serving at 4th Avenue Church of Christ in Tennessee and Campbell Church of Christ in the Bay Area.
Passionate about helping students live fully in Christ, Lauren enjoys being a mom to two daughters and staying active in the California sunshine with her husband, who also serves at Campbell.
The preaching minister, Shon Smith, is available to provide prayer, answer spiritual questions, and offer further information about joining the church community. Families and students are welcome to connect with him at shon@campbellchurch.org.
Shon joined the Campbell team in September 2020. He earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Bible and Ministry from Oklahoma Christian University and brings over 30 years of experience serving churches in Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and Illinois.
Shon loves helping people take their next step in their journey with God. Outside of ministry, he enjoys pickleball, pizza, reading, hot black tea, traveling, movies, collecting baseball cards, and spending time with friends. He is grateful for his two adult sons—Turner in Phoenix and Tate in Nashville.
