The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a nationally recognized middle school organization founded in 1929. At Campbell Christian Schools (CCS), our Junior High NJHS chapter invites 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students who maintain high academic achievement and demonstrate a commitment to Christ-centered leadership and community service.

Eligible Campbell Christian Junior High students who maintain a 3.6 cumulative GPA receive an invitation to apply. Joining the CCS NJHS chapter offers several key advantages:

Membership in NJHS is an honor awarded by the Faculty Council based on five core criteria:
Members must complete 10 service hours every two quarters. The chapter organizes group projects throughout Santa Clara County during weekdays and weekends.
$35.00 annual membership fee, payable within two weeks of induction (due Friday, March 12, 2027).
Members must maintain their 3.6 GPA, adhere to the student handbook, and attend scheduled meetings. Violations or unexcused absences may result in probation or dismissal.
Candidates must complete all required packet components and submit them together in the official application envelope to the School Office by the specified dates.

Applicants must score at least 65 out of 80 points on the Candidate Selection Rubric and receive approval from the Faculty Council to be inducted.

Students must earn and maintain a cumulative overall Junior High GPA of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale with no failing grades across two consecutive quarters.

Letters must be written by adults in the community who know the student well (e.g., youth pastors, coaches, volunteer coordinators, or project leaders). Letters cannot be written by family members or Campbell Christian School faculty.
